Our mission is to preserve and promote the traditions of Texas A&M University through education and awareness.


Traditions Council is a committee of students on the Executive Branch of the Student Government Association at Texas A&M University. Since our inception in 1975, Traditions Council has been dedicated to preserving and promoting the traditions of Texas A&M University through education and awareness. Our efforts are to preserve the traditions that make our university unique and educate Aggies and friends of Texas A&M everywhere on their rich history and practice. 

Apply to Traditions Council

If you have an interest in joining Traditions Council please visit our booth at MSC Open House September 4th from 1-4PM. We will also host two informationals September 6th and 7th, both starting at 5:30 in Rudder 707.

Applications open September 1st at 10AM and close September 8th at 5PM. The link will be posted on this website, be sure to like our Facebook page for the most updated information. The list of students who will move on to the interview portion of the application process will be posted September 12th at 8AM.
