Our Mission

Who We Are
Traditions Council is a proud committee within the Executive Branch of the Student Government Association at Texas A&M University. Established in 1975, our mission has remained the same: to preserve and promote the traditions that make Texas A&M unlike any other university. Through education, outreach, and awareness, we strive to connect Aggies and friends of Texas A&M everywhere with the history, values, and spirit that define our community.
Our Vision
At Traditions Council, our vision is to create a lasting bridge between Texas A&M’s past and its future. We aim to not only preserve the traditions that define our university but also inspire students to live them out with pride and purpose. Through education, engagement, and connection, we hope to cultivate a spirit of unity that empowers Aggies today and strengthens the legacy for those yet to come.
